Director Nominations and Elections
Individuals interested in serving on the SPCA St. John’s Board of Directors must be nominated and seconded by members in good standing (for at least two years). Completed nominations, signed by the nominee, proposer, and seconder, must be submitted to the Board Secretary at least 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Directors are elected at the AGM from a slate of eligible candidates, with voting conducted by members in good standing through either acclamation or secret ballot to ensure a fair and transparent process.
